Changan EADO for Taxi & Fleet Operations — 3-Year Running Costs & Shipping Guide

How much fuel does each EADO use over 180,000 km? A worked comparison for taxi and fleet buyers, plus the trims and shipping options that keep costs down.

For taxi and ride-hailing work, the EADO Hybrid has the lowest running cost in the range: on Changan's WLTC figures it uses about 4,300 litres less fuel than the 1.5T petrol EADO over three years and 180,000 km. The EADO Plus has the lowest purchase price. Which one wins depends on your local fuel price and how far each car drives.

How much fuel does each EADO use over three years?

The table assumes 60,000 km a year — a typical figure for a full-time taxi — and uses the official WLTC combined consumption for each model. Real-world use in dense city traffic will differ, but the gap between models is a fair guide.

Fuel used over 180,000 km (3 years × 60,000 km), WLTC combined figures
ModelWLTC L/100 kmLitres over 3 years
2026 EADO Hybrid3.86,840
2026 EADO 1.5T (Dynamic)6.211,160
2025 EADO Plus 1.5L MT6.511,700
2026 EADO Plus 1.4T6.6511,970

Against the 1.5T, the hybrid saves 4,320 litres per car over three years. Against the EADO Plus 1.4T it saves 5,130 litres.

What is that saving worth in money?

Multiply the litres saved by your local pump price. The figures below are illustrative only — replace them with your own fuel price.

Illustrative 3-year fuel saving per car, hybrid vs 1.5T (4,320 L)
Fuel price (USD/L)Saving per carSaving for 20 cars
0.50USD 2,160USD 43,200
1.00USD 4,320USD 86,400
1.50USD 6,480USD 129,600

Compare that saving with the price difference between the hybrid and petrol models on your quotation. Where fuel is cheap, the petrol EADO or EADO Plus may cost less overall; where fuel is expensive or mileage is very high, the hybrid usually pays back.

What else goes into fleet running costs?

  • Tyres: 205/60 R16 tyres (EADO Plus, 2026 EADO Dynamic) are generally cheaper to replace than the 225/45 R18 tyres on Smart trims.
  • Servicing: follow the manufacturer's schedule, especially for the wet dual-clutch gearbox. Confirm that local workshops can service hybrid systems before ordering hybrids in volume.
  • Duties and registration: set by your market — see our market guides.
  • Resale: a common model in a common colour is easier to sell at the end of the fleet cycle.

Which trims make sense for fleets?

Fleets rarely need the top trim. The 2026 EADO Dynamic keeps six airbags, the 360° camera and Apple CarPlay with smaller 16-inch wheels. The EADO Hybrid Dynamic keeps the 14.6-inch screen and six airbags. For the lowest cost per car, the single-trim 2026 EADO Plus has four airbags, a 360° camera and a 53-litre tank. See the full comparison in our trim guide.

How are fleet orders shipped?

Fleet orders travel in containers or on Ro-Ro vessels. Containers allow mixed models and colours in one load and protect the cars in transit; Ro-Ro suits large single-model orders to ports with regular car-carrier services. We plan container loading to reduce the cost per car, and in-stock units can ship within 10 working days after payment.

Each fleet order is confirmed on one proforma invoice with a uniform specification, and you receive photos or video of the vehicles at each milestone. Read the full export process or see our fleet solutions.
